Kerry Brown is Professor of Chinese Studies and Director of the Lau China Institute at King’s College, London, and Associate Fellow on the Asia Pacific Program at Chatham House. He is the author of over 20 books on China, the most recent, “China Through European Eyes: 800 Years of Cultural and Intellectual Encounter” will be published by World Scientific, Singapore, in January 2022.
